646f9e108c In the days prior to and after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, members of the FBI, CIA and various law enforcement communities struggle to ensure America&#39;s safety in a new government branch titled Homeland Security. Admiral Ted McKee is assigned to lead the new branch with help from his NSA liaison, Sol Binder, to prevent further terrorist attacks in America. McKee&#39;s teenage daughter Melissa is romantically involved with a teenage Arab immigrant named Yusef, whose father is detained by the authorities. But no one is aware that Yusef&#39;s father, Fazul, is not a terrorist spy… but Yusef is. Meanwhile, CIA agent Bradley Brand is sent to Afghanistan, with agent Johnson, to assist the Northern Alliance rebels in their fight against the Taliban and the Al Queada terrorist organization responsible for the 9/11 terrorist attacks in America, to find out more info on the &#39;Second Wave&#39; of attacks. In Seattle, FBI agents Jane Fulbar and Frank Heinhoff try to link a Russian arms dealer to an AQ cell in the city planning to construct a &#39;dirty bomb&#39; in preparation for the next AQ attacks, but find their work hampered by red tape. They&#39;re probably from Clinton supporters who still defend him for not taking Bin Ladin out when he had the chance. The movie is excellent. It spares neither officials on the right or left who dropped the ball on 9/11. And believe it, there were plenty on both sides who did so. Compare this movie to The Siege, a 1998 Denzel movie that predicted America would put Islamists in concentration camps when America got fed up with terrorist attacks. Talk about getting it wrong is an understatement. Hollywood should get the Shame award for that one. This TV movie (supposed to be a series) is nothing more than an attempt at propaganda fear-mongering. It is offensively stupid. I can&#39;t believe the network didn&#39;t pick it up, considering the subject matter, but the fact that no one watched it gives some glimmer of hope for American Television.<br/><br/>Avoid watching this &#39;movie&#39; if at all possible. The poor excuse for a plot, the stilted acting, the lousy directing… they all add up to somethingbaseanything I&#39;ve ever seen on television. It would be easy to believe the idea for this series came straight from the White House Press Office, and it&#39;s hard to conceive how anyone who was not a complete lackey to the current administration could sit though this.
